Money Market Advantage
A savings account that offers an attractive interest rate for maintaining larger balances. Best for individuals who conduct a low number of transactions each month and maintain higher balances.

This account earns a tiered interest rate. The entire balance is subject to the higher rate when the average monthly balance reaches the next tier. Interest is paid monthly. For current rates, click the Rates tab.

Tier II Rate....$25,000.00 - $49,999.99
Tier III Rate...$50,000.00 - $99,999.99
Tier IV Rate...$100,000.00 and up

Six debits per month are FREE.
A $5.00 per debit service fee applies
per debit over 6 per month.

There is a $10.00 monthly service charge if the
balance falls below $5,000.00 during the month.

Passbook Savings
This account is open to all customers and has a low opening balance requirement. Passbook Savings offer you easy access to your funds while building your savings or setting aside some money for life's little surprises.

Earns a competitive rate of interest if a $100 or more average daily balance is maintained. Interest is paid quarterly.

Nine debits per quarter are FREE. A $2.00 per debit service fee applies per debit over 9 per quarter.

Minimum Balance: $100
There is a $100.00 minimum balance
required to earn interest.

Deposit to Open: $100
A minimum deposit of $100.00 is required
to open the account.

Health Savings Account
The Friendship State Bank offers a no-nonsense Health Savings Account (HSA) designed to save you money, earn you interest and make it easy for you to withdraw funds from your account to pay for your "high deductible health care plan" expenses. Before you take the HSA plan handed to you by your health insurance provider, consider the terms of our account.

Christmas Club
This account is designed to help you save for the holiday season by depositing as little or as much as you want at any time during the year. The account year runs from November through the following October. It earns a variable rate of interest that is compounded and paid quarterly. A check for your account balance plus interest is mailed to you the last week of October.

Kid$ave
A special account just for kids. It's a great opportunity to start teaching your children about responsible savings and how banking works. No minimum balance, this account is open to kids up to age 17. Nine debits per quarter are FREE. A $2.00 per debit service fee applies per debit over 9 per quarter. No other fees apply.
