Contest was "The Great Outdoors."
Thanks to everyone for sending in your
best photos.
We were overwhelmed by the awesome
response. We had more terrific entries than ever before!
In fact, an additional 6 photos have
been selected and the 13 top photos will grace the 2011 Friendship
State Bank calendar!
Brittanie will receive a new digital
camera. Our 6 runners-up will each receive a $50 US Savings Bond.
They will also receive a 5x7 framed copy of their photo, with their
award printed in the bottom corner. Several photos will also be
displayed at our offices near their hometowns. You can see the
winning pictures, as well as past winners from 2006-2009

Annual Scholarship awards $3,500
The Friendship State Bank is proud to
announce the winners of the Wilkie S.
and James W. Lemon Scholarship for the 2009-2010 school year.
Scholarships were awarded to students from 7 area high schools who
demonstrate a commitment to community service.
The scholarships
were awarded to: Michael Howell, Batesville; Alexander Walter,
Milan; Leslie Johnson, Switzerland County; Kelly Borter, South
Ripley; Spencer Purdy, Jac-Cen-Del; Ian Goodall, South Dearborn; and
Abbey Rimstidt, Rising Sun.
