Welcome to the Kid$aver Year-Long Savings Challenge!
We believe in making savings a fun and rewarding experience for kids. Our new year-long challenge is designed to instill lifelong healthy financial habits and confidence interacting with bankers. By completing exciting activities each month, kids not only learn the value of saving, but also get a chance to win incredible giveaways all year long!
How It Works
Kid$avers complete the activities during the designated months listed below. Then ask a Friendship banker to punch a piggy on the provided activity tracker for the completed activity.
Drop off your completed (or partially completed card) at any location by December 6, 2024, for a special gift and a chance to win* BIG giveaways, including:
- Family Pass to the Cincinnati Zoo
- Season pass to Indiana State Parks
- Family pass to the Indianapolis Children's Museum
- Local Gift Cards
- And so much more!
Monthly Challenges
January, February, and March
1. Get Your Gear
Stop by a branch and grab a magnetic clip to keep your activity card on display.
2. Bank Trip

Take your piggy bank to the bank and make a deposit.
3. Eclipse Adventure
Ask a bank teller for a pair of solar eclipse viewing glasses and prepare to safely view the April solar eclipse! (Available in March Only)
April, May, and June
4. Meet & Greet
Ask a bank teller their name and share one thing you're saving for.
5. Book Explorer
Find a money-related book at the library, take a picture, and show it to a teller.
6. Show Your Colors
Wear Friendship Royal Blue, a Friendship State Bank Logo, or Kid$ave Logo, and tell a teller that you "Rely on Friendship."
July, August, and September
7. High-Five Loan Officer
Give a loan officer a high-five or handshake and ask their name.
8. Community Explorer
Spot a Bank employee in the community, take a picture, and bring it to the bank.
9. Community Champ
Serve your community, capture the moment, and show the picture to your banker.
October and November
10. Insure Your Friendship
Fist-bump a Friendship Insurance agent or insurance customer service rep and ask their name.
11. Drive-Up Adventure
Visit the drive-up banking window with your grown-up, update your Kid$ave book, and ask for you favorite sucker flavor.
12. Piggy Hunt
Find the hidden piggy bank outside your favorite branch.
Bonus Punches
Earn extra punches when your grown-up shares activity photos on Facebook or Instagram and tags Friendship State Bank.
